Welcome to our Website!
In having a vision to retain our Vietnamese heritage, we formed a
youth-led lion dance team that goes hand in hand with our traditional
martial arts known as Vovinam - Việt Võ Đạo. With the intent to have the
youth learn and develop leadership skills that will be useful in their
future, the Âu Lạc Vovinam Lion Dance Team was established on January
4th, 2009 by a group of young and talented individuals.
Performance
We offer both lion dance and martial art performances in many cultural events, including banquets, weddings, Lunar New Year, festivals, ceremonies, etc. Since we are part of a non-profit organization, all proceeds from performances will be placed in the Âu Lạc Vovinam Lion Dance general fund, which helps support cultural events, retreats, and training equipments.
